Lignano Zoo

Hailey's Kindergarten class went to the Lignano Zoo today. Let's just say after going to many of the Zoo's Stateside it was a total letdown. In fact, the children spent a total of 30 minutes in the Zoo and the rest of the time at the playground. The Zoo was chock full of birds and caged animals that you were unable to see from the observation points. Hailey and her partner, David, were pretty disappointed because they both wanted to see some Lions. The Lions were so far away that you barely even knew they were there. The only one highlight of the day was the class looking so darn cute with their hand painted shirts and animal print visors. So if you looking for just a day out at the park then go to this Zoo, otherwise skip it, and wait until the weather is warm and head to Lignano Beach instead.
