Spring Fever

On Saturday we got a glimpse of Spring. Many of the trees have begun to blossom and the cafe's were full of people sitting outside and enjoying the sunny weather. We spent the day walking around the market in Spilembergo and then we relaxed in one of our favorite cafe's with a glass of wine and some antipasto. I have to say after this winter we've all grown a bit weary of the cold weather and are not really sure about the whole Global Warming Theory. We long for warm weather and days spent outdoors... It was nice to shop for some flowers and then discuss upcoming planting strategies... Just think before you know it we'll be complaining about how to combat snails, ants, and moles...Oh the joys of gardening in Italy!... But for now, this beautiful weather has left all of us with a huge case of Spring Fever...
