Mother & Daughter Trip to London

Sarah and I are off to London for a few days for a long awaited Mother and Daughter trip. While there we're going to see "WICKED" at the London Apollo Theater. Sarah has wanted to go see a Musical together ever since I told her that my mother took me to my first Musical in New York City when I was about her age. It was my first exposure to theater and an experience I'll never forget. We saw "CATS " on Broadway and there is nothing better than seeing a musical on a real stage with an orchestra and a professional cast. The costumes and make-up were out of this world and the music was even better. And to top it off, after the show my mom took me to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in New York City: Beefsteak Charlie's. What an experience! In fact, I've gone back to the theater many times, but my first will always go down as the best...Thank you Mom!

What a beautiful family you have, with lovely photos framed in this gorgeous blog! I just read this post about Wicked, and my heart skipped a beat because my eldest daughter, a college student, just returned from London where she saw Wicked a few weeks ago. It was the thrill of a lifetime for her. She wore her Wicked T-shirt on the flight home! As I was enjoying your posts/pictures, imagine my delight at seeing my name in your blogroll. I am SO humbled that you visit me! I would love to know about your life and what you are doing there--you mentioned the Gospel--is the sharing that you do a vocation or simply a way of life? Thank you so much.
